Once again, it is that time of the year when we review paragraph 2807 of the Agreement. This provision states that the RN shall be scheduled off on at least one of the following holidays: Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. This does not mean that the RN must work one of the two. In fact, the RN might have both off.
 
Ginger Bonnar and I have discussed this in prior years; please consult with her office and do not mandate that nurses must work one of the two, or that the nurse must work one of the two on her/his day off.
